Ingredients

  • 1tablespoon olive oil
  • 1garlic clove, smashed
  • ¼teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • 1bunch curly kale, stems removed and
  • roughly chopped (about 8 to
  • 10 cups, chopped)
  • ½cup chicken broth, low sodium
  • pinch crushed red pepper

Preparation

  1. 1. Put the olive oil into the cooking pot of the
  2. Cuisinart® Multicooker.
  3. 2. Select Sauté/Brown. Set the temperature to
  4. Low and press Start.
  5. 3. Once the unit is preheated and the oil is hot,
  6. add the garlic and a pinch of the salt. Sauté
  7. until fragrant and softened.
  8. 4. Stir in the kale, broth, remaining salt,
  9. and the crushed red pepper. Stir to combine.
  10. Press Stop.
  11. 5. Secure the lid and select Custom. Set the
  12. pressure to High, the time for 2 minutes, and
  13. press Start.
  14. 6. Once the tone sounds, press Stop and then
  15. press the Steam Release button to quickly
  16. release pressure.
  17. 7. When the pressure is completely released,
  18. carefully open the lid and transfer to a serving
  19. bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
