Ramon Noodle Salad

Very tasty salad that goes great as a side dish with many items. This is a very refeshing dish and gets better over time.


1/2 cupOil 1/2 cup Vinegar 1 1/3 cups Water 1/4 to 1/2 cup Sugar 2 Seasoning packets from ramen noodles 2 pkgs.Chicken or beef flavored ramen noodles 1 (16 oz.) pkg.Coleslaw or broccoli salad mix 1 bunchGreen onions, chopped 1 Red or green pepper, chopped 1 cup Sunflower seeds 1/2 cupSlivered almonds 1 cup Cooked chicken or ham chopped small

Break ramen noodles into small pieces and place in a large bowl. Combine oil, vinegar, water, sugar and seasoning packets; mix well. Pour dressing over broken ramen noodles; let soften while you prepare the rest of the salad. Combine coleslaw mix, green onions, red pepper, sunflower seeds, slivered almonds and chicken. Mix well. Combine salad with noodles and dressing. Place in refrigerator for 3 hours or more to let flavors combine.
