½ cup fresh basil leaves ½ cup fresh parsley 6 large cloves garlic ½ cup extra virgin olive oil 1½ pounds very ripe tomatoes 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper 1 pound of whole wheat pasta

Instructions

pulse to finely chop the first four ingredients in food processor. add tomatoes, salt and pepper. pulse to coarsely chop tomatoes. place mixture in a non-reactive bowl and cover. let sit for at least an hour. cook pasta and let cool. pour sauce over pasta and enjoy.
