This is an easy and filing side dish that always seems to disappear quickly.
½ pound of ziti
15 - 16 oz (low fat-optional) cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
3 cups of spaghetti sauce, homemade or already prepared
½ - 1 cup cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh tomatoes and basil leaves

Heat oven to 350 degreegs and prepare a 13" x 9" pan with spray or butter
Cook ziti in a large pan of salted water for about 10 minutes, slightly firm
Drain and put in a large pan amd mix ziti and cottage cheese or ricotta. Add half of the mozzarella.
Pour enough spaghetti sauce to cover the bottom of the pan. Place ziti mixture over sauce, then add the rest of the sauce. Cover with grated Parmesan cheese and the rest of the mozzarella. For a garnish, place sliced tomatoes and basil leaves on top. Cook for 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve with garlic bread and fresh greens/salad.
