Cranberry Salad

1 package fresh cranberries, ground ½ cup sugar 1 medium can crushed pineapple 1 cup purple grapes – cut grapes in half 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts 1 package miniature marshmallows ½ pint whipping cream ½ cup sugar

Mix cranberries and ½ cup sugar; let stand for 10 minutes. Add pineapple, grapes, nuts, and marshmallows. Whip cream until stiff, adding remaining ½ cup sugar gradually. Fold into fruit mixture. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
