2 lbs fresh asparagus, washed and snapped
½ lb bacon (heavy peppered if you can find it)
Fresh cracked pepper (unless you have the peppered bacon)
Salt to taste

Cut bacon slices in half.
Wrap 3-4 asparagus spears with bacon, use a tooth pick to hold in place
Brush lightly with olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste.
Put wrapped asparagus on a hot grill, 3-4 minutes, then turn and grill for another 3-4 minutes, until bacon is done, but not crispy.
Serve as is, or with fresh squeeze of lemon juice if desired
