1 loaf multi grain bread 1 cup pecans 3 stalks celery 1 large onion 1 lb ground sausage 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries ½ butter or spread 2 cups chicken stock 1 cup maple syrup 2 eggs 2 teaspoons rubbed sage 2 teaspoons thyme salt & pepper to taste
Cut bread into cubes, spread on baking sheet one layer. Toast in pre heated 350 oven. After 10 minutes add nuts, toast another 5 mins. Brown sausage in pan. Drain sausage. Meanwhile chop onion and celery. Melt butter, saute onion and celery until soft. Chop cranberries in Cuisinart Food Processor. Mix bread, nuts, cranberries, sausage, onions & celery, eggs, seasoning, maple syrup and stock. Stuff turkey or cook in covered casserole dish in 350 oven 20-30 minutes.
