Ingredients
3cooker cups brown rice (use your favorite grain size)
water (to the 3-cup brown rice marking in cooking pot)
1bay leaf
2cups canned black beans, drained and rinsed
¼cup fresh parsley, chopped
1medium-large onion, chopped
2cups chopped tomatoes
½teaspoon sea salt
¼teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2tablespoons fresh lime juice
1teaspoon chili powder

Instructions
Put the rice, water and bay leaf in the cooking pot of the Cuisinart® Rice Plus™ Multi-Cooker. Select the Brown Rice function and press Start. Once the audible tone has sounded to indicate the end of cooking, open the lid and add the remaining ingredients; toss to combine. Adjust seasonings and serve immediately.
