This familiar restaurant-style hibachi sauce pairs very well with red meats.

Ingredients
- ¾cup toasted sesame seeds
- ¼cup plus 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4garlic cloves, peeled
- 1-inchpiece fresh ginger, peeled
- ¼cup plus 2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- ¼cup plus 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2tablespoons dry sherry
- 1tablespoon granulated sugar
- ¼teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1cup chicken broth, low sodium
Preparation
- Put sesame seeds and oil into the blender jar. Secure lid.
- Select Speed 5 and press Start. Blend until a thick paste forms, about 10 seconds. Scrape down sides if necessary.
- Add the remaining ingredients, in the order listed, to the blender jar with the sesame paste. Secure lid. Select Speed 10 and press Start.Blend until smooth, about 10 seconds.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Serve at room temperature.
