If you love basil pesto but don't like the flavor of pine nuts, then this recipe is for you! I've combined my two favorite nuts and the fabulous flavor of basil to make this versatile pesto. Great on vegetables, pasta, pizza, salads and more!

3 cups fresh basil leaves
½ cup walnuts
½ cup pecans
3 garlic cloves, peeled
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup extra virgin olive oil

Add all ingredients to Cuisinart, except olive oil. Pulse until well combined. With machine on low speed, slowly pour in olive oil until all incorporated and pesto is smooth. Transfer to container and use on pasta, pizza, vegetables, salads and more!
