• 1 cup fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
• ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves, loosely packed
• ½ cup unsalted pecan pieces or chopped pecans
• ½ cup olive oil
• 2-3 medium jalapeno peppers, cored and seeded
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon chili powder
• ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

2. Serve with pasta, or as a coating to roast chicken or vegetables!
