Swiss Cheese Dressing

This family recipe is a great one for the holidays. This is a heavier dish so a little goes a long way.




1 lb swiss cheese shredded 4 ½ cups fresh bread crumbs, about a 1 lb loaf of bread, any soft bread will do 7 tablespoon margarine or butter 1 cup milk, I use skim

Combine cheese and bread. Add softened butter. It's easiest to mix this with your hands. Add milk. If too dry add more milk, if too moist add more crumbs. Moist is always better. The mixture should make a ball when lightly pressed. Bake in a greased pan, covered for about 45 mins at 350.
