1 quart strawberries
⅓ cup sugar
1.4 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon butter

1. Wash and hull berries
2. Crush enough berries to make ½ cup.
3. Boil the crushed berries, water and cornstarch, two minutes, stirring.
4. Add butter.
5. Strain and cool.
6. Arrange the whole berries, point side up, over the top of the dessert.
7. Pour the glaze over the berries and chill.
