Roberta's Pasta Sauce

A rich pasta sauce that incorporates all types of meat which adds extra flavor. Can be served over anytype of pasta.

2 cans kitchen ready Pastene tomatoes 3 cans Hunts tomato paste garlic onion powder parsley basil oregano olive oil red or white wine pepper red pepper grated romano cheese hamburg for meatballs boneless chicken breasts chicken sausages boneless pork

In a large 8 qt pan add 2 tablespoons of olive oil (cold pressed) add garlic to taste and all spices. Bring to a simmer then add whatever meat you wish to use, chicken, pork, sausage, etc. Brown meat and spices then add the wine and grated cheese to taste. When meat has browned add two cans of tomatoes and two cans of water. Bring to a boil, then add 3 cans of tomatoe paste and flavor with all spices again. Add about 1 tablespoon ground red pepper. Simmer for 3-4 hours. Take low fat hamburg and add two eggs, grated cheese, all spices listed above and ½ cup of breadcrumbs. Mix all ingredients and form into meatballs. Brown meatballs in nonstick pan or bake in oven. Then add to sauce when meatballs are cooked.
