Mint Syrup

We use this in our watermelon cocktail, but it is also delicious stirred into iced tea or lemonade.


Makes ¾ cup


½    cup water
½    cup granulated sugar
4     large mint sprigs

1. Put ingredients into a small saucepan and place over medium-high
2. Bring mixture to a boil. Once boiling, allow to simmer until sugar is
completely dissolved.
3. Remove from heat and allow to come to room temperature for at least
30 minutes.
4. Chill thoroughly before using
