Homemade Peanut Butter

One jar of peanuts can make almost a whole jar of peanut butter for less than a brand named peanut butter. It only takes a couple of minutes.


1/4 to 1/2 cup


Lightly salted dry roasted peanuts Less than 1 teaspoon peanut or canola oil

1. Cuisinart mini prep plus clean and ready to use. 2. Pour in enough peanuts into chopping bowl to fill almost to the top of the chopping blade. You don't need oil but canola or peanut oil makes a smoother consistency. Use very little just small drizzle less than a teaspoon is all I needed. 3. First put chopper on grind to get things started then change to chop and keep chopping until the blade begins to slow down and you see peanut butter begin to move toward the bottom of the bowl. Chop until you get the consistency you like. 4. Scoop it out and either use a small plastic bowl with lid or an old empty peanut butter jar. *No added sugars and not a lot of oil. Tastes great and fun to make.
