Home made BBQ sauce

I love to experiment when I cook, to my husbands chagrin, so this past summer, I experimented with BBQ sauce. It was my first try and my husband loved. Good thing too since I made a large batch and to freeze the rest of it. I have used it for chicken, but I think it would be great on baby back ribs.

In a medium sized pot, put in first 5 ingredients and heat up until all alcohol is cooked out. Meanwhile, in a food processor, coarsely chop the onion and garlic, set aside. Using the same the processor and grate attachment, grate ¼ of the remaining onion and garlic. Add the grated and chopped onion and garlic to the pot. Add V-8 juice, Worcestershire sauce and grilled seasoning. Heat to boiling, lower the heat to medium low and allow to cook for 10 minutes. Turn off heat. You can use it right away or allow it to cool. All of the alcohol will be cooked out so you won't be getting any taste of the alcohol.
