This sauce can be put over any item and it makes you feel like you are eating in a four star restaurant. Tops chicken off deliciously.
2 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp. thinly sliced leeks
1 tbsp. flour
½ c. chicken broth
1 c. half and half
1/3 c. gorgonzola cheese grated
½ tsp. basil
½ tsp. Mrs. Dash
(¼ tsp. chives and parsley optional)
Salt and pepper to taste.

Sauté leeks and garlic in butter. Add flour and stir. Add chicken broth and stir until well blended. Add half and half stirring until well combined. Add gorgonzola and spices. Set aside on low heat until rice and chicken steaks are ready to serve. (Sauce can thicken while sitting, so use chicken broth to thin it out if thinner sauce is desired.)
