Garden Veggie Bagel Schmear

1 small carrot, chopped 1 large radish, halved ½ stalk celery, chopped 1 small red bell pepper 1 scallion, chopped 1 (8 ounce) package neufchatel cream cheese at room temperature ½ t. dried dill ½ t. rooster sauce or a few shakes Tabasco 1 t. Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper to taste

Turn oven broiler on high. Cut the red bell pepper in half, de-vein and de-seed, and place flat on baking dish, skin side up. Broil until the skin bubbles and turns brown. Remove from oven and place in plastic bag until it cools a bit. Remove from bag and peel the skin off (I've found wearing latex or rubber gloves helps). Place into Cuisinart food processor. Add the rest of the vegetables to the Cuisinart and mince. In a medium bowl, add neufchatel, Worcestershire, hot sauce, dill, salt, pepper and minced vegetables. Mix together with a fork or whisk until everything is thoroughly combined. Chill overnight and spread on toasted bagel of your choosing. Great as cracker topping too.
