Quick and easy meat sauce, good for weekday meals. You can use your own leftover sauce instead of store-bought. Serve with salad and Italian bread. A big hit at my house!
1 to 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 small onion diced
3 - 4 cloves garlic diced
3 tbs. olive oil
2 jars of any prepared tomato sauce
Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp.
salt and pepper to taste

Heat pan and olive oil. Add onion and garlic. Saute until softened. Add lean ground beef, breaking up into small pieces, until cooked through. Add prepared tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste. Heat through. Use to top previously prepared pasta, your choice. (Pasta should be prepared while sauce is cooking).
Serve with side salad and Italian bread.
