Very nice cranberry relish. Sweet and tart with a nice texture.
4 1/2 cups relish
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups water
4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1 apple, cored and finely chopped
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
½ cup raisins

In a large saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries and apple; boil 10 to 15 minutes or until cranberries pop amd mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in orange peel and raisins; cool.
