Chipotle Sauce

Smokey sauce that can be used on its own, or added to other sauces and recipes for an extra kick!




7-10 medium chipotles, stemmed and split ⅓ Cup white onion 4 cloves garlic 5 T. cider vinegar 4 T. ketchup 3 Cups water ¼ t. salt

Combine ingredients and simmer on low until liquid is reduced by ½. (1-2 hours) Blend well and press through fine strainer to remove skin and seeds. Enjoy!
