A new twist to your standard Tortellini recipe.
1 package of Johnsonville mild Italian sausage links
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
⅓ cup finely shredded Mozzarella cheese
Bag of cheese Tortellini (20 oz.)
Sliced mushrooms (optional)

In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink (appx. 30 minutes).
Remove sausage from the skillet and slice up in small bite size pieces.
Stir into the skillet: heavy whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and sausage pieces.
Cook Tortellini according to package directions.
Drain Tortellini, add Tortellini to the sausage cheese mixture (optional: add mushrooms to the skillet).
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook 15 minutes, stirring often.
