Pasta with sausage and broccoli-rabe

1-lb italian sausage pulled out of casing 1-lb broccoli-rabe washed, cleaned and chopped 1-lb fettuccine pasta 2-teaspoon salt 1-teaspoon black pepper 5-cloves freshly grated garlic ½ cup olive oil ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

Saute sausage until well browned on med/high heat. Set aside, bring a pot of water to a boil and add the broccoli-rabe. Cook until tender then drain very well. Set aside. Bring a pot of salted water to boil for pasta, cook as directed on packaging. In a large saute pan, add olive oil and garlic. Saute for a few minutes and add the drained broccoli-rabe. Add the sausage, salt and black pepper. Add the drained fettuccine, toss well. Serve topped with the Parmesan cheese.
