3 c. mashed sweet potatoes (I use canned..... have done the fresh but canned is just as good in the casserole.

¼ cup sugar

1 Tbsp vanilla extract

4 TBS butter

2 Eggs (fork beaten)

¾ c packed brown sugar

⅓ c flour

4 Tbsp melted butter

1 cup chopped pecans

Combine ------ first 5 ingredients, mixing well

Spoon ----------into 1½ quart baking dish

Combine ------ brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans in a bowl, mixing well

Sprinkle --------over the sweet potato mixture

Bake ------------350 degrees for 25 minutes
