Mom's Macaroni Salad

I know everybody has had macaroni salad before, but my mom's recipe always gets rave reviews. I get asked to make this every time I go to a barbecue because my friends enjoy it so much. The dressing is delicious and the veggies and peas add great texture. I hope you enjoy it!

1 box of macaroni 1 bag of frozen peas 2 cups shredded cheese 6-8 eggs, hard-boiled 3-4 celery stalks, finely chopped 1 medium onion - finely chopped canned tuna/chicken - optional Dressing: ½ cup light Miracle Whip ½ cup light mayonnaise 2 Tbsp yellow mustard ¼ cup sugar salt & pepper to taste

Cook macaroni according to directions on box. In a large mixing bowl, add macaroni, peas, cheese, eggs, celery and onion. In a small bowl, combine Miracle Whip, mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. Add dressing from small bowl to large bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed. Let sit in fridge for about 4 hours before serving.
