All kids love popcorn balls, but the orange and brown M&Ms add a festive flair to these holiday favorites. You can always save the red and green ones to make Christmas popcorn balls with later on in the year.
½ cup sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ teaspoon. Vanilla extract
5 cups of popped popcorn with as many of the unpopped kernels removed as possible
1 cup of JUST the orange and brown M&Ms (so you'll just have to eat the rest yourself - LOL)

Put waxed paper on 2 cookie sheets. Put the popped popcorn in a large bowl.
Heat the sugar and corn syrup to a full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and add the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Stir until peanut butter is melted and all ingredients are mixed well. Pour this mixture over the popcorn and GENTLY stir with a large wooden spoon until all the popcorn is evenly coated. Add the M&M's and gently stir until they are evenly mixed in. As quickly as possible, form the mixture into 2" balls and place on the waxed paper. If the mixture sticks to your hands, try rubbing vegetable oil on your hands. Cool completely before serving.
