A take off on the old peanut butter blossoms, but using a fudgey cookie base and he red and white candy cane kisses. These are very sweet!

Ingredients

1/3 cup butter or margarine 6 oz unsweetened baking chocolate 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk 1 pouch (1 lb, 1.5 oz), Sugar Cookie Mix 1 tsp ground cinnamon 60 Hershey's candy cane kisses

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 Microwave butter and chocolate on high, 1 minute. Stir, microwave on high 1 minute longer or until butter is melted and chocolate can be stirred smooth. Add in can of sweetened condensed milk then sir in the cookie mix. Roll into 60 balls and place on parchment covered baking sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes (do not over bake! these should remain kind of fudgey. Place a candy cane kiss on top of each cookie, pressing in slightly. Let cookies cool for a few minutes to let the candy melt a bit, then with clean finger press and swirl a bit on the top. Cool completely overnight on cooling racks to allow the chocolate to reset and harden.
