Fruity Oats
INGREDIENTS
2 Tablespoons rolled oats
1/4 Cup unsweetened apple juice
2 Tablespoons water
1 small-medium size apple, cored and chopped
1 banana, chopped or mashed
2-4 pitted prunes, finely chopped
1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
Instructions
Put the oats, apple juice and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil and let simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the apple, banana, prunes, and pear. Cover and let simmer for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Let cool and serve room temperature or store in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can be frozen.

Note: This yummy mix can be pureed for smaller kids as well. Also, any fruit on hand will do, so feel free to substitute with what's readily available and preferably in season.
