Delicious side dish! It won't seem as if there is enough dressing for so many vegetables; however, as it sits, will yield more liquid content. Sometimes I even throw in some shredded cheddar cheese.


2 lg. heads broccoli, chopped
1 med. red onion
1 Lb bacon
1 c. real mayonnaise
1/3 c. sugar
2 to 3 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. sunflower seeds (optional)

Cut bacon into bits and fry crisp.
Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar; set aside
In large bowl, mix broccoli, onions, cooked bacon, raisins and seeds. Pour dressing over all. Mix well. Let stand at least 1 hour or more before serving.
