Chinese Inspired Hamburgers with a sweet chili pepper mayonnaise
1 lb ground beef 1 can sliced water chestnuts 1 can bamboo shoots 1 small sweet onion 2 tsp soy 1 tbsp terriyaki glaze 1/2 tsp ground ginger pinch of ground cloves 1 tbsp dried cilantro Mayo: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce hamburger buns (i like these on a swwet hawaiian bread) Bean Sprouts (instead of lettuce) pinch

Finely chop the onion in the cuisineart. Add to all of the other ingredients in a large bowl and mix by hand until all ingredients are well incorporated. Place beef mixture into food processor and mix again until well incorporated and even consistency throughout. (If you have a small food processor like me, you may have to do this in batches in order to not overload the cuisineart). shape into four to six burger patties depending on the size and thickness you prefer. I like mine thick and hearty so this makes four THICK burgers for me and my friends. Grill the burgers until desired doneness is reached. Combine the mayo and chili sauce and spread on buns. place bean sprouts on bottom bun, then burger then top bun. Devour!
