These burgers are great, the bacon adds the needed fat to the lean venison and gives it a slight bacon taste

¾ lbs. ground venison
¼ lbs. ground bacon
Fresh ground black pepper
3 oz. blue cheese

Grind the venison and the bacon in grinder with fine dice or use food processor pulsing meat to a fine grind. Mix meats together and make 3 patties, pepper patties with fresh gound pepper and grill approximatly six minutes on first side, flip burger and grill three minutes, then place one oz. of the blue cheese on each burger and continue to grill about two minutes more or until done.
