Soften cabbage in a large pot of boiling water. Then, cut out large vein in center of leaf. Mix together ground beef, chopped onion and rice. Spread one can of crushed tomatoes on bottom of 2 large casseroles, or one large 9X13 baking dish. Spoon a heaping tablespoonful of meat mixture on each softened cabbage leaf, rolling them until they are closed. Line filled cabbage leaves into dishes, spoon on another can of crushed tomatoes. Cover with foil or casserole dish tops and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Slice kielbasa into ¼ inch slices, take casseroles out of oven. Line sliced kielbasa in between and on top of cabbage rolls (really pack it in) and bake for another 30 minutes.
