Delicious and simple to make. A great dish to entertain with.
3 Tbsp. olive oil
4 cloves crushed garlic
½ teaspoon. hot red pepper flakes
1 28 oz. can whole Italian-style tomatoes with juice
1 16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 lb. deveined large shrimp
3 Tbsp. vodka
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 lb. penne cooked al-dente
Parmesan cheese to taste

In a large skillet, add olive oil, red pepper flakes and garlic. Simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Do not let garlic brown.
Cut tomatoes into large chunks. Add cut tomatoes along with the tomato juice and the other can of tomato sauce, sugar and salt to the pan. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook pasta until al-dente in large pot.
Add shrimp and vodka to sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add heavy cream, simmer for 3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Stir in chopped parsley.
Drain pasta and keep in pasta pot. Add sauce to pasta, toss and let it cook into the pasta for 5 more minutes or until past is fully cooked. Serve with parmesan cheese.
