2 # beef cubed steaks 1 large onion chopped 2 cloves garlic minced salt pepper garlic powder onion powder ½ cup flour Montreal's Steak seasoning 1-2 teaspoon tomato paste 1-2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 cup beef broth

Sprinkle flour into cubed steaks and pound well with meat tenderizer hammer. Season steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and Montreal's steak seasoning to taste. Brown chopped onions, add garlic, add steaks and brown well. Add 1 cup of beef broth, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 45 minutes in a covered frying pan. (I use an electric frying pan set on low heat of 210 degrees). (It's important to simmer long enough to be very tender as it changes the consistency of everything). Mix ⅓ cup broth with 2 Tablespoons of flour or 1 Tablespoon of corn starch shaking in a jar, add to thicken the gravy, cooking 3 or 4 minutes more. When thickened, serve, ladling gravy over mashed potatoes or rice. Serves 4 people.
