Rinse ribs and coat lightly with season salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder & paprika.
Chop onion in pieces and start frying in an iron skillet with butter. Once the onions start cooking place the ribs in the skillet to sear and brown each side. Once seared well, take the ribs out of the pan and coat with hot dry mustard and a generous amount of ketchup and a small amount of molasses and paprika and white pepper, black pepper, season salt and parsley.
Place the ribs in the crock pot with a tiny amount of water or chicken broth with two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and place the cooked onions on top and in between the ribs.
Top with a pat of butter and cook in the crock pot on low for 6 to 8 hours. They fall apart and will be the hit at any party as an entree or appetizer
