Ingredients

  • 24 ounces ground chuck (80/20)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  1. Season the beef evenly with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Form into 4 equal patties.
  2. Place the Grill/Griddle Plate onto the Baking Pan with the Grill side facing up. Place into the oven in the lower rack position. Set to Grill at 450°F and preheat for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Once preheated, carefully place the burgers evenly on the grill plate. Cook for 4 minutes on the first side, flip and then cook for an additional 3 minutes. For cheeseburgers, add sliced cheese once the burgers are flipped.
  4. Allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Serve immediately on burger buns (lightly toast in oven if preferred) with desired toppings
