Cajun Style Grilled Fish

This recipe uses Cajun seasonings to flavor your favorite fish.




6-8 large fillets of tilapia fish 1 Teaspoon Old Bay seasoning 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning Approximately ½ Cup Olive Oil Chopped Garlic (3-4 cloves) 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder Salt and Pepper, to taste Fresh chopped tomatoes (3-4 small plum tomatoes) Cooked brown or wild rice, or angel hair pasta

Pat dry each fillet of fish with a paper towel. Season both sides of each fillet with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and old bay seasoning. In a large mixing bowl, add about ⅓-½ Cup Olive Oil. Add more black pepper, garlic powder, old bay seasoning, fresh chopped garlic, and ½ the packet of the Taco Seasoning (or more if you prefer). Combine the seasoned fish and the oil marinade. Put in fridge and let marinade for 15-30 minutes. Heat a frying pan or a grill pan over the stove, (do not add any extra oil; the fish already contains plenty of oil.) Add each fillet of fish to the heated pan and let each side cook for 3-4 minutes. Do not keep flipping the fish otherwise it will break. Remove the fish from the pan and place on platter. Take the chopped tomatoes and add to the pan. Sautee, stirring constantly for about 4-5 minutes. Place on top of plated fish. Bon Appetite!
