This makes superb kabobs, despite using the cheapest Italian dressing you can find. It is much better than it has any right to be. Serve with rice pilaf.

Classic Shishkabob
INGREDIENTS
1 lb of 1.5" cubes, good lamb or beef
1 lg onion,cut to skewer-sized pieces
2 bell peppers,any color, skewer-cut
12 mushrooms
24-32 oz cheapest bottled Ital dressing
Metal or wood skewers
Instructions
Marinate cut items for 24 hrs. Impale on skewers & broil or BBQ 5 minutes; turn skewers & cook 5 minutes on opposite side. (You may also use cherry tomatoes, but skewer separately-they cook more quickly.)
