Glazed Salmon
This salmon recipe is one that I have used to convert people who tell me that they "just don't like salmon". The cornstarch and sugar give the glaze something to adhere to. The sweet glaze is just wonderful with the flavor of the soy sauce and garlic marinade. I have also grilled the fish which gives it another level of flavor.

INGREDIENTS
16 ounces Salmon filet
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
10 cloves crushed garlic
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons corn starch
2 teaspoons sugar
Instructions
Put salmon in large plastic bag and pour in soy sauce and crushed garlic. Marinate fish for up to 4 hours in the refrigerator, turning the bag occasionally.
Put honey, brown sugar, oil and water in small pot and simmer until sugar is melted and all is combined and thick.
Mix together the corn starch and sugar.
Take fish out of bag and discard marinade. Rub fish with the cornstarch and sugar mixture and place fish in hot pan coated with olive oil, skin side up. Cook for several minutes til fish is brown, then turn fish over and pour sugar glaze over fish. Place fish in 350 degree oven until fish is opaque.
