I am Australian by origin… living now 5 years in Oregon USA… I was first asked to make a dish for a Church pot luck I made my famous shepherds pie… it was such a huge success I was asked to make it on a regular basis as a "comfort" food for sick people thru the churches " Meals Ministry" so I did that for about 3 years... always with glowing compliments and "encores"... Just recently we had a very tragic death and as a comfort to this family I made my "shepherds pie" and it was sooo gratefully received… to all who eat this dish it really is a great comfort and great belly warmer on these cold Oregon days!
