Chicken CasseroleUser Submitted Recipe
1 whole chicken
4 carrots, halved
1 large onion, quartered
4 stalks of celery, halved
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 pint of sour cream
1 package of Pepperidge farm stuffing mix
Boil chicken in large pot with the carrots, onion, celery, salt and pepper. Cool and remove skin.
Cut chicken and spread evenly in casserole dish.
Mix the mushroom soup and sour cream then mix with chicken. Follow the directions for the stuffing mix. Top prepared stuffing mixture over the chicken.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes. ENJOY!!
