¾ cup all purpose flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
⅓ cup butter
⅔ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons water
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Preheat: 325 & grease 9 in square pan. Stir together flour, baking soda & salt. In another bowl combine chocolate chips & vanilla.
In a pan combine butter, sugar & water. Bring just to a boil. Pour hot mixture over chocolate chips and stir. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well each time. Stir in the flour mixture. Fold in nuts & pour into prepared pan. Spread evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until slightly firm to touch. Do not over-bake. They should be a little damp when you take them out of the oven since they will continue to bake in their own heat.
