7 Egg whites
2 cups of Sugar
4 sticks of Butter (room temperature)plus extra on hand in case the buttercream does not come together right away.

Put together the egg whites and sugar in a bowl over heat. Whisk until egg whites and sugar are smooth and the mixture is really hot to the touch.
Then transfer egg white mix to a bowl connected to a mixer, and let it mix for a long time until the mixture has cooled.
Then start adding your room temperature butter in small pieces. If the buttercream still does not come together after 4 sticks add little by little, more butter.
Add your vanilla extract.
