Ingredients
Cake:
9 egg whites
2 cups of sugar
9 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup of milk
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Filling:
3 Egg Yolks
2 12oz cans of evaporated milk
2 14oz cans of sweetened condensed milk
2 pints of heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
½ cup water
1 cup light corn syrup
1½ cups sugar
3 egg whites
or/instead
A jar of marshmallow cream

Instructions
Cake: Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar; add yolks; add vanilla & milk, then flour and baking powder. Pour into 13 x 9 baking (greased) pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
Filling: Beat 3 egg yolks for 1 minute at high speed. Add canned milk, heavy cream and vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Pierce entire cake with a fork or knife. Then pour mixture.
Topping: Mix water, corn syrup and sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until a spin of thread drizzles (about 30 minutes). Beat egg whites until stiff; while continuing to beat the egg whites, slowly add syrup.
Decorate with cherries (optional).
