Tomato Soup Cake

2¼ cups flour 1⅓ cups sugar 4 teaspoon. baking powder 1 teaspoon. baking soda 1½ teaspoon. allspice 1 teaspoon. cinnamon ½ teaspoon. ground cloves ½ cup shortening 1 can condensed tomato soup 2 eggs ¼ cup water

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix all dry ingredients together until well-blended. Add shortening and tomato soup. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs and water. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes more. Pour into 13x9 inch cake pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 25-30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost with cream cheese buttercream frosting.
