1 pint strawberries, stemmed and sliced
3 cups canned evaporated milk, well chilled
1½ cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoon. lemon juice
⅛ teaspoon. salt

1. Combine fruit, sugar, lemon juice and salt in a large bowl; mash and allow the berries to macerate for ½ hour.
2. Add the chilled evaporated milk; stir to mix. Pour into Cuisinart ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions.
3. Any fruit or berries can be used equal to approx 2 cups of mashed fruit.
