Melt in your mouth soft and fluffy sugar cookies

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk (or milk soured with Vinegar)
4 cups flour
1½ teaspoon. baking soda
1½ teaspoon. salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Nutmeg to taste

Combine all ingredients together. Drop by spoonfuls on to greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes
