Ingredients
1⅔ cup cocoa powder
1 lb butter (or margarine)
4 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups unbleached flour
2 cups slightly chopped walnuts

Instructions
Microwave in a large glass bowl: the cocoa and butter until melted - about 2 minutes. Stir until cocoa is completely melted.
Using hand -mixer, blend sugar into the melted mixture until well mixed, then stir in eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Stir in nuts. Pour in greased 13x9 inch glass baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 35 - 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out almost clean.
(Note: Do not overbake, the brownies will thicken up as they cool.) Cool in pan; cut into squares. Makes 24 brownies
