1 C. brown sugar 4 T. flour 1 t. cinnamon ½ t. ginger ½ t. cloves ½ t. salt 3 egg yolks 1 C. milk ¼ C. butter or margarine 1 can pumpkin 1 C. coarsely chopped pecans 1 8 or 9-inch baked pie shell

Mix brown sugar, flour, spices and salt. Beat egg yolks, stir in milk and add to first mixture. Cook over hot water until thick, stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in butter, pumpkin and pecans. Stir well and pour into baked pie shell. Cool and serve with whipped cream. Yields 8
